Welcome to the tower of the Parc des Chutes-de-la-Petite-Rivière-Bostonnais.
Come climb the observation tower to admire the view of the Saint-Maurice River and la Petite rivière Bostonnais from a higher perspective. As you ascend, you will be going to fish information. Interpretation indications will let you know about the various species of fish that you can find in these waters.
The tower measures 21 m (68 feet) high. the company Chantiers Chibougamau, situated Nord-du-Québec, has fabric pieces of wood laminated and glued to the structure of the tower. These pieces are the result of the recovery of black spruce harvested in the Quebec Boreal forest, this piece is so small that it cannot be put in value other that with this method. It took 35 m3 (1 263 pi3) of wood to construct the tower.
